Physical & Environmental Security
One of the requirements of PCI compliance includes implementing strong access control measures. Our data centers’ physical security is protected by limited building access, requiring double authentication. Security also provides limited access to the locked colocation suites, cages and individual racks with controls set by each client. Any access to sensitive infrastructure – managed dedicated servers, cloud, network and power - is restricted to only authorized Online Tech personnel.
Environmental control is established by our 24x7 surveillance, monitoring and alarm system, including fire detection. An automated issue tracking system can pinpoint breaches by recording, managing and tracking any security issue.
Network Security
Our Cisco network infrastructure provides network security with redundant routers, switches and paired universal threat management devices, providing up to the most secure level of firewalls to meet PCI and HIPAA compliance standards.
Our Virtual Private Firewall and Dedicated Firewall include Intrusion Detection Service (IDS) to target any attempts at network or system intrusions. The system can trigger alerts to ensure our team responds to any possible issues. The firewalls also include Intrusion Prevention Service (IPS) that attempts to block any possible intrusions detected by the IDS.
